About Me

Hi, I’m Tia Zhang, a product designer currently based in Los Angeles.
I enjoy observing how people interact with the objects around them and turning those observations into thoughtful design solutions. My work is driven by curiosity, empathy, and a belief that good design should feel both intuitive and meaningful. Through sketching, prototyping, and user research, I explore ways to create products that improve everyday experiences.
Growing up in Shanghai and now studying in LA has given me the opportunity to see design from different cultural perspectives. I’m especially interested in sustainable design, brand storytelling, and how products can build emotional connections with users.
Outside of design, I enjoy photography, sports, and spending time in nature. These interests often inspire my creative process and help me notice the small details that make experiences memorable.
